וַיַּ֤עַל דָּוִד֙ וַֽאֲנָשָׁ֔יו וַֽיִּפְשְׁט֛וּ אֶל־הַגְּשׁוּרִ֥י והגרזי [וְהַגִּזְרִ֖י] וְהָעֲמָלֵקִ֑י כִּ֣י הֵ֜נָּה יֹשְׁב֤וֹת הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר מֵֽעוֹלָ֔ם בּוֹאֲךָ֥ שׁ֖וּרָה וְעַד־אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
Und David und seine Männer gingen hinauf und machten einen Überfall auf die Geshuriter, die Gizriten und die Amalekiter. denn das waren die Bewohner des Landes, die von alters her waren, wie du nach Shur gehst, bis in das Land Ägypten.
